We can solely assist you in storing healthcare information and selecting healthcare providers and medical facilities. Our members will have the ultimate say on selecting hospitals and physicians.

Membership Terms and Termination

Once you complete the registration process, you will be able to begin experiencing the benefits of being a Teledaktar member. You are free to terminate your membership whenever you want using the Teledaktar App. The advantages of being a member cannot be passed on to someone else and should only be used for your individual purposes. Teledaktar has the authority to terminate your membership whenever they deem necessary.

All the information and services available on Teledaktar are solely intended for your personal use and gaining knowledge.

We are not your Doctor

Whenever we utilize the terms "your physician" or "medical practitioner" or comparable terminologies on Teledaktar, encompassing these terms of service, we are referring to your designated physician within our network, with whom you share a recognized doctor-patient association. Call center professionals are not your medical practitioners, clinicians, or healthcare providers; instead, they serve as your gateway or advisor to selecting the appropriate doctor or hospital to address your healthcare needs.

Membership Renewal

To continue one's membership, it is necessary to renew it prior to the termination of the current membership period. The membership program's advantages can still be enjoyed by paying the regular fee through the same payment methods as previously accepted to extend its validity. Individuals who do not renew their membership will be unable to avail themselves of the privileges associated with their premium membership.

Un-subscription

  • At any given moment in the month, a user has the option to terminate their subscription. We will not reimburse the payment made for the features already purchased.
  • Members who have opted out of a subscription can choose to re-subscribe at any given time. They will once again be billed the identical amount for the functionalities they acquire.

Conditions of Health and Life Insurance Coverage

Exemption clauses for health insurance

  • Immunization procedures;
  • Treatment of family planning purposes including termination of pregnancy, sterility or treatment related to assisted reproduction, cost of contraception, cost of female hygiene product like sanitary pads, etc.;
  • Treatment related to pregnancy, child-birth or post-partum care;
  • Mental, emotional or psychiatric disorders, alcoholism or any other narcotic addiction.
  • Obesity i.e., treatment for, or required as a result of obesity, any cosmetic or plastic treatment/surgery, unless required as reconstructive surgery as a consequence of an injury due to accidents, burns.
  • Any procedures which are experimental or not generally accepted by the medical profession viz. acupuncture, herbal/ayurvedic/homeopathy treatment and any Alternative Medical Care (AMC) etc.
  • Rest, convalescence or rejuvenation cures, thermal baths, physiotherapy or confinement for the purposes of slimming or beautification;
  • Injury arising due to accident while participating in any unlawful activities (e.g., driving a car without a license), attempted suicide, violation or attempted violation of the law, injuries willfully or intentionally self-inflicted or due to insanity or under the influence of a drug;
  • Routine examination of eye and ear, fitting or replacement of eyeglasses (including Intra-ocular lens or contact lenses) or hearing aids, health screening including routine physical examinations (health check-ups) and any dental treatment unless require hospitalization for re-constructive surgery as a consequence of an accident;
  • Non-surgical care for tuberculosis, hepatitis B & C and any other vaccinations, all expenses incurred in connection with the donor for any treatment, AIDS and HIV diseases and costs of prostheses, corrective devices;
  • Sleep disorders i.e., treatment for insomnia, sleep apnoea, snoring, or any other sleep related breathing problem;
  • The condition of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), or any AIDS related illness or HIV virus.

Exemption clauses for life insurance

  • Death due to suicide;
  • Death due to HIV/AIDS;
  • Death due to participation in political violence or subversive activity.

Refund Notes for Video Consultation with Specialist Doctors

  1. Customers will get a refund only if the doctor is not available at the chosen schedule.
  2. Refunds will be available only before approval and status will be changed automatically.
  3. For an emergency situation one responsible person has to access a refund even after approval and change the status as refunded.
  4. If we are unable to provide any service, the refund must be done within 15 days.

Refund Notes for Doorstep Pathology Sample Collection

  1. Customers will get a refund only if partner diagnostic is not available to collect samples at chosen schedule.
  2. Refunds will be available only before approval and status will be changed automatically.
  3. For an emergency situation one responsible person has to access a refund even after approval and change the status as refunded.
  4. If we are unable to provide any service, the refund must be done within 15 days.
